DEDAN. IS SO. COOL LOOKING. God I swear if it weren't for Enoch he'd be my favorite guardian in OFF. Hes so cool looking that I would like...get a tattoo of him or somethin'.
I was really close to blowing my damn head off while drawing this. My fingers were in soooo much pain. This has got to be the most dots Ive used in a drawing yet. 2000% worth it though, I'm very proud of this. Im tempted to go post this on tumblr but Im gonna do the other two guardians first and upload them as a group.
Fun fact: While drawing this I was super zoomed in on his torso for a bit and while I was shading his pants I thought there was a bug on the screen but figures out it was just one of Dedan's nipples. Bahaha.

I am much the same with Japhet. Enoch's awesome and all, but what really drew me to Japhet is his struggle to maintain a kingdom that won't even listen to him because they're so caught up in their paranoid delusions.
And sure, Dedan is a complete prick but I love his attitude! He takes shit from absolutely nothing. He'll even insult the very thing that can kill him and still put up a fair fight, for god sake! Also, I love his battle sprite. I'm a fan of people who strip (Or in this case, unbutton) their upper clothing so they can fight. Plus his design is awesome, he's like a beefy zombie-but-not-quite who wears a trench coat. XD
